(Wild Maine Bobcat) Shelagh Delphyne Photography has ongoing exhibits at Saltwater Artists Gallery at Pemaquid Point open May to October. ~ The natural beauty of Maine provides ever changing subjects for stunning scenic and nature photography. Wildlife such as eagles, owls, turtles and otters abound in this area and offer endless subjects for photographs. The play of light and shadow through trees, on water, on leaves, in the morning mist... all these provide photographic inspiration. The Fall foliage color is truly spectacular! For me, the magic of photography is that it captures a moment in time... an image that will never exist in quite that way again. Something truly precious and unique. Photography has been a passion for more than 40 years. Nature and the beauty seen all around inspire these images. The Maine Coast has been home for 21 years now, and offers enough exploration to last a lifetime. Sailing has been a love for 30 years and many of my photographs reflect that. Maine is paradise for sailors! My life is shared with much loved cats who are also featured in some images.
